Our community-based programming creates avenues to success, education, and community for all youth. All programs are free-of-cost to our players. pamoja alumni are currently playing for regi0nal and national teams, and receiving college scholarship opportunities.

A Pamoja Basketball program for all young women in Arusha who want to play!
We launched Her Time to Shine in response to the lack of sports opportunities and support available to young women in our community. We are devoted to growing the number of women participants in our organization. Summer camps are coming up this June! Please reach out to us for more information on joining or getting involved.

Our Future
Locking down reliable court time has been a challenge for PBP programs each year. We are hosting anywhere from 20 - 100 players in a single day and are seeking more dependable court access. Our future does not include canceling programs because a space fell through! Thanks to our board, we are working on a design that fits us. This stadium is also for our community! We will share this space with other sports organizations, and with our families and friends. We will provide a safe place for gatherings, celebrations, after-school hangouts, markets, etc. We also plan to harvest and treat the rainwater that comes during the rainy season and store it as a local resource throughout the year.
